Scratches Deep Blue sauce holder

The Scratches Deep Blue sauce holder is visual abyss contained in ceramic. Unlike its Maki sister, this piece covers nearly its entire surface with a deep blue that varies between warm and cool tones, creating depth. Beneath this blue mantle, the scratch lines remain present but resignified: they are no longer protagonists, but whispers hidden, gestures that exist in the shadows.

The enveloping blue is dominant, immersive. It acts as a wrapper that transforms the narrative: the scratch here does not proclaim its existence but lives in silent dialogue with chromatic saturation. The band of blue in this version is not a clean cut but a complete ocean that wraps the piece.

The edges and few light zones that emerge function as vents, points where light escapes from the depths. Scratches Deep Blue is meditation on the submerged, on how gesture persists even when immersed in opacity.
